Office Supplies Project
In my fall semester of sophomore year, I created a product family of office supplies that look like they are created and sold by one company. This project allowed me to improve my skills on creating products for companies and matching their brand language.
Study Abroad Project
This project was made while studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I took an Italian Product Design class at Accademia Italiana. I gained a lot of knowledge by immersing myself in Italian design. The goal of this project was to select a type of Italian Tuscan room and design a new furniture set that could easily fit in. I chose an outdoor Tuscan-style patio, and ideated 3 different pieces of furniture to create a new Tuscan space.

I started off the project by collecting images of Tuscan-style outdoor patios. I noticed the frames of the furniture were either flat and white with wood or super thin with iron. Almost all of them had cushions, as most of them were lounge-style seats.

I began ideation with simple 1-2 minute sketches, trying to find a form that I liked, which fit into the aesthetic I was going for.I marked the two I liked the most with red.

I really liked the form of this chair, and started to develop the idea of it further. For this I wanted to make the frame wooden, trying to fit the style of the tuscan outdoor patio. I then used Vizcom to generate a quick and realistic render applying the materials I would intend to use in order to see what it would look like.

After advice from my professor, I was told to go with the thin iron bars in order to fit the more of the Tuscan-style, so I went back to the drawing board, and created this sketch, keeping a similar form to the first concept. I also sketched a table to go with the two pieces. I then put my sketch into Vizcom to create a quick render.

After I had my final sketch concept, I used my skills in SolidWorks to 3D model each piece of furniture. After that I put each model into Keyshot and created these renders.
